Bishops Visit From Greece

Clergy visit the Columbia River Gorge. L to R: Their Eminences Metropolitan Moses of Portland and the Western US and Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Attica, His Grace Bishop Photios of Marathon, and Fr George Psaromatis

Last week, on October 12th-14th n.s., 2011, His Eminence Metropolitan Chrysostomos ofAttica and His Grace Bishop Photios of Marathon visited our Cathedral of the Holy Nativity of the Theotokos in Portland, Oregon. Vespers was served in the evening of the 12th, with Divine Liturgy being served in the morning of the 13th.  Following Divine Liturgy, brunch was served with talks given by the hierarchs.  Our Cathedral was spiritually enriched by the visit of two of our hierarchs from Greece, and we are very thankful that they made the trip to Portland and our Cathedral.

We pray that His Eminence and His Grace will have a good rest of their journey as they visit other parishes of the Holy Metropolis of the GOC of America, and that they also have a safe return to Greece.
